Gada Great Run Tours of Oromia Duration-5 Days Day 01: Arrival Addis Ababa Up on arrival at Bole international airport and met by your representatives and transfer to hotel. After check in to hotel, you will have a city tour of Addis. It includes; the newly opened Unity, Entoto/ Mount panoramic view point at the highest peak in Addis with an altitude of 3200 meter above sea level and Sheger parks, National Museum which is the home of the famous complete hominid fossil remain of Lucy dates 3.2 million years back,Trinity Cathedral, a beautiful church with a baroque style of European architecture unique to both Ethiopia and Africa, Ethnographic Museum and Merkato (the largest open air market in Africa). Overnight in your hotel Day 02: Drive to Addis-Bekoji-Addis On this day, after breakfast drive to Bekoji which is the home town of Ethiopian Famous long and short distance Athletes; such as Haile Gebreselassie, Kenenisa Bekele, Derartu Tulu, Turunesh Dibaba and many more other athletes. After visit, drive back to Addis and you will have a dinner program with famous athletes together to share experiences and to take photos together. Overnight in your hotel.
Day 03: Drive to Addis- Yaya Village
After breakfast, drive to north from the capital to Yaya Village. Here is the famous Ethiopia running training bases including UK famous athlete Mo Farah, and a lot of runners from other places in the world. Running and training there and there will be a walking cultural tours in the nearby villages. Overnight in Yaya Village
Day 04: Yaya Village
On this day you will have full day training and running. Late afternoon drive some distances to meet host communities and take refreshment in local house traditional foods and drinks. Overnight in Yaya Village
Day 05: Drive back to Addis then Departure
After breakfast drive to back to Addis for the race. After finishing the race you will shopping and ready for the farewell traditional dinner in one of the best restaurant in Addis followed by folkloric dance of different Ethiopian nations. Then transfer in to airport to fly back home, end of the tour.
